The Society for the Advancement of ICT & Comparative Knowledge (SOCTHADICK) ( organizes periodic (online-equivalent) conferences/workshops/seminars. Details on participation and issuance of conference certificates may be obtained from or from the Editorial Office of African Journal of Management Information System (Afr. J. MIS) (  For instance, an author whose paper has been published in Afr. J. MIS may transfer part of the credit obtained for the publication (as a result of passing through a submission peer review process) towards recognition as a conference paper presenter, and subsequent issuance of a certificate of participation.


The Society for the Advancement of ICT & Comparative Knowledge (SOCTHADICK) ( is an international intellectual/professional association devoted to non-trivial studies on all issues pertaining to ICT, comparative knowledge and their inter-relationship. The Society is for literates and illiterates, and its activities are devoid of parochial ethnic, racial, sectional and socio-economic bias. The motto of the Society is ‘Knowledge is Power’.

The Society wishes to announce her 2021 Regular Conference and Annual Meeting (SOCTHADICKconf’21), in partnership with the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Kogi State University, Anyigba, Nigeria. The conference is scheduled to take place from Sunday, 17th October, 2021 (arrival) to Wednesday, 20th October, 2021 (departure). It will be a hybrid conference (physical and virtual). The theme of the conference has been carefully selected to address virtually all issues pertaining to ICT and knowledge acquisition, generation and transmission. The theme is: ‘Towards a Unification of Global Knowledge Systems using the Prism of Information and Communication Technology‘.
